Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Water Treatment/Plant Operations Engineer Denver Office. Note that this is a contract hire, for a 6 month period.

Your primary responsibilties will include:

  • Perform field work including providing operations support at mine water treatment plants. This will include spending one to three weeks per month in the field;

  • Analyze water quality data;

  • Evaluate and select preferred water treatment alternatives;

  • Assist in planning and execution of bench and pilot scale process treatability studies;

  • Perform conceptual and detailed process design calculations and analyses;

  • Participate in the detailed design of active and passive water treatment facilities;

  • Field support activities for sampling, commissioning support, and travel; and

  • Support environmental permitting efforts.  

Job Requirements:

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • 0 to 5 years’ experience in water treatment facilities for industrial effluent treatment applications;

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical engineering or related field;

  • New graduates should have relevant coursework on water treatment processes or internship experience;

  • Clear and effective written and oral communication;

  • Interest and/or experience in treatment plant operations is strongly preferred;

  • Previous or current experience within a consulting industry strongly preferred.
