Golder Associates is now offering a great opportunity for an Air Quality Data Manager to join our growing Texas air quality practice. In this role you will have the opportunity to support US based as well as international air quality projects. Under the direction of seasoned air quality professionals, your duties will include but not be limited to:

The responsibilities associated with this position may include: * Assist with the input, manipulation and management of data associated with greenhouse gas emissions and operations, air quality compliance and permitting, and sustainability management for environmental projects, as well as air data research efforts; * Participate in data collection, data importation, database management and reporting activities including input to Geographic Information Systems and Sequel Server databases; * Responsible for data quality assurance and data presentation; * Refining, optimizing, and documenting processes including everything associated with capture, management, and delivery of observations and measurements. * Help to develop air permit applications for various industry sectors (e.g. Oil & Gas, Power, Refining, Chemical Manufacturing, etc.) * Perform air pollutant emission rate calculations for air permitting, annual emission inventory reporting, and other licensing and reporting.

This position requires travel as dictated by project demands to client offices and for interaction with similar Golder professionals. You will have the opportunity to network with other practitioners in Texas, the United States, and globally. Job Requirements: Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: * A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Environmental, Atmospheric Science, Information Technology Management or a related field;


A minimum of 3 years of work experience with at least 1 year of directly related experience in environmental data management; * A strong working knowledge of database management systems and data management objectives and applications (i.e. GIS, SQL Server databases); * Our ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of local, state, and federal air emissions management regulations including requirements for completing applications for air construction and operating permits and ongoing air regulatory compliance activities as well as mandatory and voluntary greenhouse gas and sustainability reporting; * The selected candidate should be eligible for employment in the U.S. and possess a valid driver's license, a passport (or have the ability to obtain a passport), and be prepared to pass a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen and background check.
