Golder Associates is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. In this role you will have opportunities to use your expert knowledge to Geotechnical engineering to build and develop new client relationships, help clients to solve complex problems, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage complex geotechnical engineering design and construction projects for power, transportation, and government clients;

  • Review complex geotechnical calculations;

  • Develop and maintain client relationships;

  • Mentor junior and mid-level staff;

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering is required.

  • Professional Engineer’s license

  • 15 or more years’ relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering

Additional Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Shallow and deep foundation expertise:

  • Expertise with geotechnical instrumentation

  • Expertise in rock slopes and rock mechanics

  • Transportation-related geotechnical expertise

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Solid organization and time management abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude

  • High level of personal integrity with a strong work ethic

  • Must be available to travel 0-20%
