Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking an Entry Level Engineer (Environmental focus) for the Sunnyvale, CA office. This individual will provide support on civil, environmental and geotechnical projects. Responsibilities will include:
Perform field assignments such as groundwater and/or soil sampling, surface water sampling, drilling and subsurface explorations, operation and maintenance activities for remediation systems and water treatment systems, groundwater well installation, and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
Construction oversight and construction quality assurance field work, testing and documentation.
Support the Engineering and Geosciences Groups in the performance of technical assignments related to environmental engineering;
Prepare technical reports, including documentation of field investigative procedures, data management and interpretations, and development of graphical and tabular presentation of data;

A BS in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with an environmental emphasis will also be considered.
The successful candidate must also have a positive attitude, good verbal communication and writing skills, able to work well in teams/groups;
Willingness to travel approximately 50% for field assignments;
Local candidates will receive primary consideration.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license; be able to drive a company vehicle .
Candidate must pass medical screening, drug screening, and a background check.
OSHA 40 hour training;
General knowledge of State of CA regulatory statutes
Experience with water quality data collection and interpretation;
Working knowledge of MS Office suite and ArcGIS
