Golder Associates Maintenance Scheduler in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico

Golder has a new opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler to join our team in a full-time position at our Questa, New Mexico site.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Schedule and coordinate preventive (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on Water Treatment Facility process equipment.

  • Assist plant maintenance personnel, when necessary, with Water Treatment Facility process equipment PM and CM.

  • Develop, revise and assist implementation of standardized work instructions in Maximo ® or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Monitor PM and CM activities to improve safety and efficiency and to capture work instructions for work order improvement.

  • Provide Person Managing Control of Work (PMCoW) oversight of CM and PM duties and non-routine work when necessary.

  • Assist Lead Maintenance Technician with weekly reports.

  • Assist Lead Maintenance Technician with weekly maintenance effort planning.


  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Ability to climb several flights of stairs, at least 20 times per day and walk the process floor and hike unimproved areas of the site with total distance of walking travel typically exceeding 5 miles per day.

  • Ability to move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, sometimes in tight spaces.

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), in particular Maximo ®.

  • Experience working with teams of maintenance technicians and maintenance planners in an industrial facility or setting.

  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and other equipment in accordance with site safety practices.

  • Clear and effective communication skills.

  • Strong people skills and an ability to work in a team environment.


  • Wastewater treatment plant experience.

  • Experience with Instrumentation and Electrical Equipment.

  • Experience designing and modifying work plans in CMMS, in particular Maximo ®.

  • Excellent planning skills.
