Golder has a new opportunity for an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join our team in a full-time position at our Questa, New Mexico Water Treatment Plant.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Perform routine preventive maintenance duties and non-routine repair on, and corrective replacement of, plant rotating, electrical, control systems, and instrumentation equipment
Perform preventive and corrective calibration of analytical instrumentation and lab analytical instruments
Inspect completed repair and replacement work using standardized inspection forms
Oversee subcontractors with the assistance of the Lead Maintenance Technician in performing critical specialized maintenance and equipment replacement for sustained reliability and operation of the facility
Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with managing the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) by reviewing electronic workorders and entering workorder data into CMMS.
Perform periodic equipment inspection to verify state of repair using standardized inspection forms.
High School Diploma or GED
2 years’ experience performing electrical, rotating, and instrumentation equipment maintenance and calibration in an operating industrial process facility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot industrial WWTP machinery, equipment, and instrumentation
Ability to obtain a 40-hour OSHA HazWOPER certificate or have a current
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent
2 years’ experience performing maintenance in an operating industrial WWTP
