Golder Associates Environmental Field Technician in BISMARCK, North Dakota

Golder has a new opportunity for a Field Technician to join our CentralOperations team in a Full-Time position at our Bismarck, North Dakota office.

Yourprimary responsibilities will include:

  • Providesupport on a variety of environmental compliance, regulatory permitting, andsite remediation projects for manufacturing, oil & gas, and landdevelopment clients

  • Assistwith emergency spill response, environmental investigations and the collectionofenvironmental data

  • Preparetechnical reports, complete permit applications and other regulatory documents

  • Assistwith field investigations related to wetland delineations and threatened &endangered species surveys

  • Assistwith SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, Phase I ESAs, and other environmental plans anddocuments involving water, soil, and waste.


  • HighSchool Diploma or equivalent

  • Aptitudein the engineering, geology, or environmental science

  • FluencyMicrosoft Office Suite

  • Fieldand/or construction experience

  • Abilityto travel throughout the state of North Dakota, including travel for extendedassignments

  • Reportwriting and field & construction documentation skills

  • Theability to communicate constructively with contractors, owners, and seniorGolder personnel


  • Associate degree inConstruction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or relatedfield

  • Exposure to GIS or Civil3D, and other data analysis tools

  • Current OSHAcertifications
