Golder has a new opportunity for a Field Technician to join our CentralOperations team in a Full-Time position at our Bismarck, North Dakota office.
Yourprimary responsibilities will include:
Providesupport on a variety of environmental compliance, regulatory permitting, andsite remediation projects for manufacturing, oil & gas, and landdevelopment clients
Assistwith emergency spill response, environmental investigations and the collectionofenvironmental data
Preparetechnical reports, complete permit applications and other regulatory documents
Assistwith field investigations related to wetland delineations and threatened &endangered species surveys
Assistwith SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, Phase I ESAs, and other environmental plans anddocuments involving water, soil, and waste.
HighSchool Diploma or equivalent
Aptitudein the engineering, geology, or environmental science
FluencyMicrosoft Office Suite
Fieldand/or construction experience
Abilityto travel throughout the state of North Dakota, including travel for extendedassignments
Reportwriting and field & construction documentation skills
Theability to communicate constructively with contractors, owners, and seniorGolder personnel
Associate degree inConstruction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or relatedfield
Exposure to GIS or Civil3D, and other data analysis tools
