Golder has a new opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to form part of the Global Talent Acquisition team and be responsible for implementing the Golder recruitment strategy and working in partnership with Hiring Managers and HR to delivery resourcing needs throughout the Europe Region.
Reporting into the Global Leader Talent Acquisition with a dotted line to the Regional HR Leader, Key Responsibilities include:
Consulting with Leaders and Hiring Managers on workforce planning
As an expert in talent acquisition understanding hiring requirements and position specifications
Preparing position descriptions, drafting and preparing advertisements for vacant positions and ensuring information is accurately entered into Taleo
Through a developed network, identification of new talent through market intelligence and development of talent maps fulfill the regions immediate talent needs
Create an ongoing and proactive candidate pipeline through various methods including direct sourcing of passive Candidates, referrals and strategically partnering with Hiring Managers to build Talent Pools
Utilize Social recruiting as part of the sourcing strategy inclusive of Linked-In and other social media platforms
Create an awareness of trends and changes in the local and global markets
Collaborating and knowledge sharing with the Global Talent Acquisition Team
As a Trusted Advisor provide advice to Hiring Managers on best practice recruitment processes and procedures
Ensure candidates are pre-screened and interviewed prior to providing candidate shortlists to Hiring Managers
Preparing all relevant interview and key criteria selection documentation, ensuring accurate screening of applicants and relevant interview techniques are used
Coordinating interview panels
Undertaking reference checks
Providing relevant and accurate reporting of recruitment activity and metrics
Working in partnership with the Global Mobility Specialist
Bachelor’s degree or similar in relevant industry or management related subject
Strong business acumen
Project management experience
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision and proven ability to act at both the strategic and tactical levels in a fast paced environment
The ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
Fluent in both English and at least one other European language
Taleo and Oracle experience
Demonstrated experience of improving and sustaining key recruitment metrics inclusive of time-to-hire, satisfaction of Hiring Manager’s and other key metrics
Experience recruiting and undertaking research and search work in an agency, search firm or corporate environment within engineering consultancy
A strong work ethic and high levels of initiative, enthusiasm and reliability
Strong time management and organizational skills, must be able to manage high pressure whilst achieving quality business outcomes
Excellent communication skills for face-to-face, telephone, and written communication
