Golder has a new opportunity for an Equipment Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis based in South Burnaby. This role is an entry-level position for a technically and mechanically inclined team member to maintain, track, and distribute technical equipment. The successful candidate will also carry out accurate and efficient billing of equipment and will receive direction from senior team members.

An overview of your role will include:

· Communicating effectively with internal clients including field staff, project managers, and external suppliers

· Coordinating proper packing, manifesting, and shipping of equipment and materials to job sites

· Organizing and maintaining equipment as well as the equipment storage area

· Shipping and receiving of domestic and international shipments

· Maintaining and tracking equipment on the database

· Shipping and receiving of domestic and international shipments

· Maintaining vehicles and trailers in good working condition

· Handling, storing, and disposing of chemicals

You will have a background in:

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under minimal supervision

· Ability to follow detailed procedures

· Great work ethic with a mechanical aptitude

· Shipping and receiving experience is an asset, but not required

· Forklift experience would be considered an asset

· Valid driver’s license
