Golder has a new opportunity for a Linear Development Regulatory / Permitting Specialist to join our Environmental Planning and Permitting (EP&P) team on a full-time basis in Calgary or Edmonton.
An overview of yourrole will include:
Serve asa Project Manager and lead in the EP&P business across the life cycle oflinear projects (transmission, pipelines, rail, highways)
Contributeto project development and delivery. This includes strategic planning, proposaldevelopment, project management, client relations, and opportunity development
Supportthe development of integrated service delivery by identifying business opportunitieswith other Golder staff around the company who deliver technical servicesrequired by linear development clients
Contributeto a culture of health, safety and protection of the environment and ensuringthat safety is an inherent part of the work we do every day
You will have abackground in:
Minimumof a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science or a relateddiscipline
Atleast 5 years of relevant EP&P experience, preferably in a consultingcapacity
Businessdevelopment and client service management skills with a proven track record ofdeveloping project opportunities and maintaining successful clientrelationships; strong existing client relationships and professional contactsare highly desirable
Acomprehensive understanding of the various national, provincial, and regionalregulatory bodies that oversee linear EP&P projects in the Prairies andacross Canada
ProjectManagement Professional Designation as asset, but not required
Havea good aptitude for using and understanding computer applications
Haveexcellent oral communication and writing skills
