Golder has a new opportunity for a Talent AcquisitionSpecialist to join our Global TalentAcquisition team on a full-time basis based in Calgary. You will be responsible for reporting to and working with a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a consistent pipeline of passive and active talent to fill vacant and future positions in the region.
An overview of yourrole will include:
Understandingbusiness needs and position profiles and supporting the Senior TalentAcquisition Specialist as needed with position postings
Reachingout to passive candidates and building talent pipelines
Utilizingvarious platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to search forcandidates
Undertakingsecondary research for our competitors’ talent and carrying out internetsourcing
Networkingwith both active and passive candidates
Systematicallyand proactively obtaining referrals from external networks and our existingemployees
Maintaincandidates compliantly using Taleo
Proactivelypromoting the Golder employer branding, through social media, at Graduate Fairs,networking events, and conferences
Communicatingwith candidates that are already on Taleo, via email, and strategic marketingefforts (utilizing our existing candidate database)
Responsiblefor monitoring key conversion metrics such as number of passive candidatesinterviewed, offered, and hired
You will have abackground in:
Bachelor’sdegree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Management or a related field ispreferable
Previousexperience working within recruitment and HR including internal and agency isdesirable
Experiencesourcing candidates through various channels including social media andutilizing Boolean search would be an asset
Strongunderstanding of Employer Branding would be an asset
