With extensive experience within tunnelling ideally you will possess a broad project background over which you have developed your design and construction experience, preferably as both a contractor and as a consultant. Working within both Golder and client project teams you will be responsible for:
Leading project pursuits and building client relationships
Providing specialist technical advice to clients
Managing project teams and finances
Leadership of multi-disciplinary project teams on local, regional and international consulting projects so they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to client and Golder’s standards
Leading design development for temporary and permanent works
Review of technical specifications and drawings
Providing technical support and review during construction
Supervision and mentoring of staff
You would be primarily involved in rail, road and water infrastructure projects though there are likely to be opportunities on a range of mining projects as well. This position could be located out of our London or Doncaster offices and will involve some domestic and international travel.

Qualifications & Experience including but not limited to :
Relevant Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Registered Chartered/Professional Engineer or Member of a related professional body
Ideally, you will possess a broad project background over which you have developed your design and construction experience, preferably as both a contractor and as a consultant.
High level project management experience
Ability to lead and guide high performing teams
High level communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive approach to technical service delivery
Experience in developing client relationships and contributing to business growth
