Golder has a new opportunity for an Environmental Specialist t o join our Central Operations team on a full-time position at our Houston, TX or St. Louis, MO office.
Yourprimary responsibilities will include:
Performing and preparing technicalreports for EHS audits and environmental field investigations, includingdocumentation field investigative procedures, data management andinterpretation, and development of graphical and tabular presentation of data.
Providing EHS compliance program supportfor industrial clients including developing procedures and permits, preparingand submitting periodic regulatory reports and plans, and preparing andconducting EHS training programs.
Working on Phase 1 environmental site assessments.
Working on hydrogeology and remediationincluding subsurface investigations which including drilling,geologic/geotechnical logging and environmental media sampling.
Performing engineering calculations,cost estimates, data validation, and report preparation.
Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Evironmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
2-6 years relevant experience inconsulting practice or in a regulatory or private industry setting.
Knowledge of and experience with reviewing and applying federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
Experience performing Phase I environmentalsite assessments and environmental sampling.
Master’s Degree in Health & Safety, Evironmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
Certification in field,or progress toward certification, including PE, ASP, CSP, CHMM, CIH, orequivalent, depending on qualifications.
Experience developingand auditing EHS programs in industrial settings.
