Golder has a new opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our CentralOperations team in a Full-Time position at our Midland, Texas office. Reporting to the Group Leader .
Yourprimary responsibilities will include:
Useyour knowledge of regulator requirements to act as a technical and project management lead forwork involving spill response, site assessment and remediation, monitoring ofwell installations, soil and groundwater sampling, reclamation, wastemanagement, SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, Phase I & II ESAs, NORM surveys, and othervarious environmental related projects.
Work with engineers, GISspecialists, and other environmental experts to contribute to largermultidisciplinary projects.
Leadenvironmental site assessments and investigations, collect environmental data,prepare technical reports, and complete regulatory documents and permitapplications.
Leadbusiness development efforts by cultivating partnerships and writing proposals.
Interfacewith clients, regulators, and Golder staff to meet task, schedule, and budgetrequirements.
Performvarious office administrative tasks associated with managing the office.
Coachand mentor others with respect to their career growth and professionaldevelopment.
Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Natural Resources, orsimilar scientific/engineering discipline.
15 years of experiencein the environmental consulting business.
Excellent and demonstratedverbal and written communications skills, with ability to effectivelycommunicate technical information to clients, regulators, and colleagues.
The ability andwillingness to travel locally and internationally.
An appreciation for highquality, client focused work products.
Strong commitment totimely delivery of services.
Strong interpersonal andcritical thinking skills.
Strong computer skills,including the Microsoft Suite.
Professionalregistration in the applicant’s discipline in the State of Texas is preferredbut not required.
Current Health andSafety training, such as OSHA HAZWOPER and MSHA preferred.
