Golder has a new opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, entry-level Hydrogeologist to join its dynamic team on a full time basis in our Lakewood,Colorado . The selected candidate will support hydrogeology-related projects and proposal efforts for mining, oil and gas, power, and solid waste. Projects typically involve permitting, baseline studies, operational support, and reclamation/remediation primarily for the mining, oil and gas, power, and solid waste industries.
Responsibilities of therole will include:
· Providing support to all project phases ranging from initial proposal to subsequent field and office tasks;
· Field data collection, management and interpretation and laboratory data management and interpretation;
· Data analysis and interpretation including hydrogeological modeling and conceptual model development; and
· Technical writing including proposals, work plans, and reports.

The selected candidate will demonstrate a passion for hydrogeology and geology, possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills, be committed to producing technically excellent work in a client-driven environment and have the following qualifications:
Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field. Ideallywith a strong quantitative background.
Academic knowledge of surface and subsurface hydrogeology.
Strong understanding of geology and physical hydrogeology.
Ability to coordinate and execute field programs with support fromsenior colleagues using proper techniques.
Experience with data management tools (i.e., Excel, EQuIS, Access,Python).
Strong relational skills within the team environment and withclients are essential.
Good technical writing skills.
Willingness to travel to domestic and international projectlocations.
The candidate must be eligible to work permanently in the UnitedStates, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a pre-employment physical(including drug screening) and criminal background check.
0-3 years’ work experience.
Experience with hydrogeology modeling codes (MODFLOW, FEFLOW,Hydrus).
Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish
Experience with statistical methods and analysis.
