Golder has a new opportunity for a Wastewater Operator to join our team in a Full-Time position at our Summitville, Colorado plant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing operations and maintenance (O&M) of the Summitville Mine Superfund Site Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility and associated site structures.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assist colleagues in plant process monitoring and adjustments.

  • Perform laboratory water and process sampling QA/QC to includesolids analysis and benchtop spectrophotometer analysis of water samples

  • Perform data collection and data entry of process and otheroperations information into operations logbooks up to 6 times per day.

  • Perform filter press operation up to 12 times per day.

  • Drive the site dump truck to the site sludge repository to dumpfilter press cake up to 12 times per day.

  • Monitor extended systems critical to plant process (including wellwater, lime system, influent pumping and SDI Toe Seep).

  • Operation and maintenance of heavy equipment including snowremoval equipment and front-end loaders.

  • Assist maintenance personal with repairs and maintenance, asrequired.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • At least one year of plant operations experience.

  • Ability to obtain a 40-hour OSHA HazWOPER certificate or have acurrent certificate.

  • Ability to safely operate and drive a dump truck and a companyvehicle.

  • Good understanding of Health and Safety practices and mechanicalaptitude.

  • Ability to complete shift work including nights, weekends, andholidays, as necessary (shifts can be 12-hours per day).

  • Extended travel (up to two months) for other construction typework as project load dictates.

Preferred:

  • Experience in operatinga bulldozer, front end loader, motor grader, backhoe and/ or skid steer.
