Golder Associates Environmental Geospatial Data Analyst in MANCHESTER, New Hampshire

Golder is seeking a motivated individual to join the Manchester , New Hampshire team as an entry level Environmental Geospatial DataAnalyst supporting multiple internal spatial information management project clients. The successful candidate must have experience and be comfortable working with large geo-environmental datasets, have a client focus and consulting approach, as well as excellent interpersonal skills as they will be working with clients and staff at all levels within our international, employee-owned firm.

Thesuccessful candidate’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist inthe planning, design and implementation of mobile applications for field datacollection;

  • Use MSExcel to manipulate and organize data sets for import into a database and forfinal reporting by generating and formatting tables, charts, or graphs;

  • Researchstate and federal regulations necessary to manage action levels or clean-upcriteria;

  • Responsiblefor product quality control with adherence to company standards;

  • Workcollaboratively with staff from other Golder offices, as required, to meetproject and client needs;

  • Travel to other Golder offices may be required;

  • Performother administrative and technical project duties as required;

  • Demonstratea “Safety-First” focus and acting as a role model to other staff; and,

  • Maintain a high standard of behavior touphold Golder’s reputation and demonstrating a commitment to our Core Values.

The successful candidate may possess the following preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Successful completionof the following: A degree or equivalent experience in spatial, environmental,or geosciences;

  • 0 to 3years’ experience in the environmental field with emphasis on environmentaldata management;

  • Experienceand understanding of industry standard graphical documentation softwarepackages (GIS and CADD) a plus;

  • Experiencewith enterprise environmental database software: EarthSoft’s EQuIS ® ;

  • StrongGeo-Spatial model oriented individual to assist and generate graphical 2D and3D products;

  • Experienced knowledgeof the following software is preferred: Earthsoft’s EQuIS ® ,Golden’s Surfer ® and/or ESRI ArcMap;

  • Working knowledge ofGPS units or other field data capture tools;

  • Experience using 3Dmodelling packages, FME, HTML, and/or Adobe Creative Suite would be anasset;

  • Strong organizationalskills and detail-oriented;

  • Strong peopleskills and an ability to work both independently and in a teamenvironment;

  • Demonstrate abilityto meet tight deadlines;

  • Strong oral andwritten communication skills; and

  • Willingness to learn several in-house orspecialty software programs
