Our Contaminated Land Group in Brisbane is growing and as such we are looking to employ a Principal Environmental Consultant with a Risk Assessment background to work on full-time basis.
Key duties and responsibilitiesinclude:
Providesenior direction for consultancy services and technical deliverables,project and technical direction
Maintainexisting client relationships and seeking expansion opportunities
Participatein industry groups and/or expert panels as part of maintaining highindustry profile
Provideinput into the strategy and direction for the Environmental teams locallyand across the region as required
Activelyparticipate in; and contribute to the leadership of the Golderinternational toxicology and risk assessment technical community
Providestrategic technical advice to internal and external clients includingproject teams across disciplines
TechnicalDevelopment of other members of the team both nationally and locally
Drivea culture of Health and Safety and provide safety leadership
Mentorand coach employees with respect to their career growth and professionaldevelop
Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications inEnvironmental Engineering, Science or similar related discipline
RegisteredChartered/Certified Professional, and a member of a related professionalbody
Clientfocused with good interpersonal skills and collaborative working approach
20years’ experience in environmental toxicology, ecological risk assessment
Soundproject direction and/or management skills with previous consultingexperience
Strongand demonstrable oral and written communication skills
Advancedanalytical and problem-solving skills
Stronginterpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work in adiverse team environment
