Golder Associates Senior Hydrogeologist in Milton, Australia
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced hydrogeologist to join our dynamic groundwater team in the Brisbane office. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge working alongside other professional consultants to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions to a broad range of global, national and local clients in the infrastructure, mining, oil and gas and government sectors.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Plan, supervise and deliver hydrogeological investigation and testing programs, using a range of hydraulic testing methods and utilising a range of hydrogeological monitoring equipment.
Interpretation and reporting of geological and hydrogeological data.
Develop detailed hydrogeological conceptual models.
Use a variety of tools including analytical and numerical groundwater models to predict behaviour of groundwater systems.
Project and financial management of small to medium sized groundwater and multi-disciplinary projects.
Prepare proposals and high quality technical deliverables.
Build client relationships through regular contact with existing and new clients.
Supervise and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
Work together with senior colleagues to achieve project and business goals.

Your will possess the following Skills and Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to articulate complex issues simply and clearly with a focus on addressing client needs.
Proficient in managing projects and small project teams.
Experience in subcontractor management.
A Bachelor or Master degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
Registered Chartered/Certified Professional, or a willingness to work towards chartered status and a member of a related professional body preferable.
