Golder has a new opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full time basis based in Mississauga . As the Administrative Assistant, you will utilize your exceptional administrative and organizational skills to support this office.
An overview of your role will include:
Answering phone, directing incoming calls and greeting clients
Maintaining and updating sign-in/out sheet, and electronic tracking
Ordering of taxi cabs as necessary
Processing of all incoming and outgoing couriers
Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of meeting room set-ups, including scheduling, ordering and set-up of catering, table and equipment etc.
Ensuring kitchen is tidy and coffee machine stocked
Operate office equipment and troubleshooting
Word processing, data entry, scanning documents, uploading files and filing as required
Sending and receiving faxes, photocopying
Ordering internal business cards and other office supplies
Project material assembly and project research
Working on internal projects
Acquiring Insurance Certificates and other similar documents
Archiving projects, typing and preparing project reports
General administration duties as assigned (letter preparation, memos, etc.)
Other duties as required
You will have the following background and attributes:
Completion of an Office Administration Diploma, or equivalent is an asset
At least 2 to 5 years of experience in administrative, office environment is an asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Well-developed organizational and time-management skills
Must be proficient in MS Office suite of applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Demonstrate good judgement
Flexible to new ideas and challenges and is highly motivated
Enthusiastic and versatile, willing to take on responsibility and demonstrate initiative
The individual must be able to work collaboratively and develop effective working relationships with the team
