Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Licensed Site Remediation Professional who will work as part of a team of scientists, engineers and other LSRPs in the Mt. Laurel, New Jersey office. This can be either a part-time or full-time role. Our ideal candidate will be a senior member of a team that provides project and client management services, remedial investigation and design, regulatory approval/compliance and environmental monitoring services for a broad range of clients. Golder is a strong advocate of the team approach to undertaking projects and problem solving. Accordingly, in this role you will interface with and work in multi-disciplinary teams in which the contribution of each member is equally valued.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Providing technical and regulatory support on the projects, filling the LSRP role

  • Executing technical work in areas of expertise, including senior technical review

  • Providing mentoring and supervision for junior and intermediate staff

  • Providing effective management of medium to large projects

  • Managing client development and sustainability

  • Identifying, securing, and delivering project work for new clients

  • Providing a lead role in the development of strategies during remedial investigation, design and implementation

  • Providing a lead role in agency communications and negotiations

  • Working in a fast-paced environment, often on multiple tasks and projects

  • Participating in the continued growth and development of the consulting practice in Golder’s Northeast Operations

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • BS degree in environmental sciences or engineering; MS is preferred

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in site remediation

  • Current LSRP in the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection program

  • Superior written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong technical skills in development of geologic and hydrogeologic conceptual site models, the scoping of environmental investigations, and in the analysis and interpretation of environmental data

  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills

  • Experience preferred with design of remedial systems for soil, sediment and groundwater

  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills

  • Experience in capably supervising and mentoring staff in a team environment

  • Proven experience in managing projects and people

  • Willingness to travel as dictated by project demands
