Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Remediation Consultant who will work as part of a team of scientists and engineers in the Mt. Laurel, New Jersey office. Our ideal candidate will be a senior member of a team that provides project and client management services, remedial investigation and design, regulatory approval/compliance and environmental monitoring services for a broad range of clients. Golder is a strong advocate of the team approach to undertaking projects and problem solving. Accordingly, in this role you will interface with and work in multi-disciplinary teams in which the contribution of each member is equally valued.
Your responsibilities inthis role will include:
Providing technical leadership for site remediation projectshaving significant budgets and complexity
Executing technical work in areas of expertise, including seniortechnical review
Providing mentoring and supervision for junior and intermediatestaff
Providing effective management of medium to large projects
Managing client development and sustainability
Identifying, securing, and delivering project work for new clients
Providing a lead role in the development of strategies duringremedial investigation, design and implementation
Providing a lead role in agency communications and negotiations
Working in a fast-paced environment, often on multiple tasks andprojects
Participating in the continued growth and development of theconsulting practice in Golder’s Northeast Operations
The preferred candidate willpossess the following skills and attributes:
BSdegree in environmental sciences or engineering; MS is preferred
Aminimum of 15 years’ experience in site remediation
Professionallicense (e.g., P.G., P.E., LSRP)
Superiorwritten and verbal communications skills
Strongtechnical skills in development of geologic and hydrogeologic conceptualsite models, the scoping of environmental investigations, and in theanalysis and interpretation of environmental data
Advancedquantitative and analytical skills
Experiencepreferred with design of remedial systems for soil, sediment andgroundwater
Stronginterpersonal and client management skills
Experiencein capably supervising and mentoring staff in a team environment
Provenexperience in managing projects and people
Willingnessto travel as dictated by project demands
