Golder has a new opportunity for a Practice Leader in our Digital Solutions group to join our team on full-time basis in Sydney.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Interact with customers using avariety of means to obtain technical details required for configuration

  • Interpret customer compliancerequirements and business processes in sufficient detail to developtechnical specifications for configuration

  • Provide feedback and suggestions forimproving existing business processes

  • Configure EHS software per designspecifications

  • Perform unit testing of EHS softwareto verify configuration per design specifications

  • Perform end to end system testingwith support as needed

  • Develop reports, dashboards andother visualization assets using commercially available software packagesand tools

  • Demonstrate software configurationand base functionality to customers in informal and formal settings

  • Assist in the development ofintegration specifications and testing

  • Deliver and develop training,technical documentation and training materials for customer and/or projectteam use

  • Develop test scripts and supportcustomers through UAT

  • Develop legacy data mapping

  • Perform data migration and cleansingactivities

  • Analyse and interpret large, complexdata sets

  • Troubleshoot configuration issues duringdeployment and rollout activities

  • Support customer account team duringpost deployment and rollout activities

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university a Master’s degree in engineering, science or information systems would be ideal

  • 10 years of experience with one of the following subject areas: environmental permitting/compliance, occupational health/industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability/resiliency, quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise)

  • Demonstrated proficiency configuring solutions with at least one major EHS software platform

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases, software platforms and integration methodologies

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent work assignments

  • Demonstrated ability to direct global delivery teams

  • Familiar with technology delivery lifecycle for waterfall and agile methodologies

  • Understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety, Sustainability, Quality, or Risk Management regulations, processes and reporting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in general business and technical capacities
