Golder Associates Project Coordinator in North Sydney, Australia

Golder has a new opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Business Support team on a full-time basis based in Sydney.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Project coordination in accordance with Golder's Project Management standard operating procedures

  • Supporting the planning of the project toachieve the project’s objectives

  • Supporting the execution of the project andmonitoring performance according to the project execution plan and the contractterms and conditions

  • Supporting the development of the project scopestatement, Work Breakdown Structure, project schedule and project budget

  • Maintaining and analysing project schedules andconducting project forecasting related to schedule control

  • Tracking and analysing budgets and expendituresand conducting project forecasting related to cost control

  • Interfacing with the accounting team to set upinvoicing requirements and produce invoices as well as assisting withmanagement of project cash flow

  • Coordinating project team communications,written and verbal, and documenting client meeting, interactions and activities

  • Coordinating logistical requirements for theproject team such as travel and mobilisation

  • Coordinating administrative resources to assistwith administrative tasks

  • Producing regular progress reports for theclient, the project team and other internal and external stakeholders

  • Coordinating data management and informationtransfer, including setting up and maintaining filing systems, document logsand action item lists

  • Assist in maintaining the project risk register

  • Coordinating and monitoring project contractsfor sub-consultants, contractors and vendors

  • Effectively communicate with internal andexternal stakeholders

  • Running the document control system fordevelopment and finalisation of client deliverables

  • Supporting project closing through archiving ofproject documentation and coordination of lessons learned documentation,sub-consultant evaluations and project experience profiles.

Skills,Qualifications, and Experience

  • Understandingof Project Control Fundamentals

  • Microsoftoffice (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) at a competent/advanced level

  • BST experience preferable

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellenteye for detail

  • Passionfor Project Management

  • Leadershipand organisation skills .
