We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Part-time (25-30 hours per week) HR Advisor to be based out of our Nottingham office.
Reporting to the European HR Leader, the HR Advisor is responsible for providing professional HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees in line with company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
Working within all areas of Human Resources, but with a strong emphasis on employee relations and project delivery, the role requires a resilient HR professional who takes pride in delivering excellence, thrives on challenges, is adaptable and can work on own initiative.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Provide credible commercial HR guidance and support to managers and employees;
Support the development and maintenance of a High Performance culture within the Company, working closely with the European HR Leader to deliver key aspects of our annual HPC process, including performance, talent identification, succession planning, and salary.
Remain current with developments in employment legislation and HR best practice, sharing knowledge within the team to support continuous development.
Proactively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and development of HR processes to ensure an efficient and effective HR service
Supporting the European HR Leader to develop and implement effective and practical HR policies, procedures and initiatives
Managing issues relating to sickness absence and occupational health. This includes providing advice and support and liaising with occupational health and general practitioners
Support the maintenance and advancement of HRIS
Responsible for our migrant worker UK Border Agency sponsorship licence ensuring at all times our processes meet the compliance requirements
Work in partnership with our Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure new hires are successfully on boarded and integrated into the Company
Supports the HR Coordinator with the integration process ensuring Line Managers are provided with relevant and support
Develops and issues HR documentation
Works with managers to appropriately announce the arrival of new employees, using the appropriate communication channels
Management of our employee benefits
Supports the European HR Leader to deliver projects aligned to our HR strategy
Proven HR generalist/advisory experience
Strong administration and attention to detail
Great communication skills, the ability to build effectiverelationships using technology
The ability to handle responsibility and changing priorities
Ability to keep calm, prioritise and make sound decisions
Excellent time management skills
Clean UK driving licence and the ability to travel to other UKoffices as required
