Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a mid-level Geotechnical Engineer for the Redmond, Washington office. In this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team on challenging heavy civil and land development projects throughout the Puget Sound area.
Yourprimary responsibilities will include:
Interact with engineering firms,developers, public agencies, contractors to develop project opportunities
Participate in project proposaldevelopment
Preform geotechnical engineering analysesand reporting – including deep foundations, retaining structures, shoring,liquefaction, slope stability, settlement.
Lead small-to mid-sized projects andgeotechnical aspects of large projects
Represent Golder at project team meetings
MS degree in Civil (with Geotechnical emphasis) or GeotechnicalEngineering
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Strong soil mechanics and foundation engineering knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Puget Sound experience
Registered Professional Engineer
Existing client relationships
Numerical modeling background
Advanced seismic knowledge
