Golder Associates is seeking a dynamic Quality Professional to join our Denver, Houston, or Redmond office.

This role provides support to facilitate, implement and monitor Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Western Regionl. The incumbent will promote and advocate office/division quality achievement and performance improvement; through effective communication, strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting and working with staff to adopt and incorporate quality methods and integrate management processes into their work to reduce risk and improve efficiencies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Client Focus

  • Support Proposal teams and project teams to communicate Golder’s quality management system to existing and potential clients

  • Support project teams with quality client contract flow downs

  • Internal Audit

  • Coordinating of Internal Audit program (Audits for Global Procedures) as set out in the National and Regional audit program using the tools provided;

  • Conducting audits and act in the role as Lead Internal Auditor;

  • Analyzing data and present “data that matters” to process owners and other internal clients;

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives within defined portfolio; and,

  • Participating in CI projects at the Regional and National Level.

  • Integrated Management System

  • Championing and overseeing the effective rollout of Integrated Management initiative (including new Global Procedures, changes to the system, etc.);

  • Implementing IMS National and Regional Annual Work-plan at the local level;

  • Conducting quality orientation/refresher training for staff;

  • Communication

  • Determining a set interval to communicate with Region, Division Managers/Group Managers/Office Managers regarding audit results (in a manner that matters), progress on preventative and corrective actions and new initiatives;

  • Communicating with local users of the IMS (one on ones, Group Meetings, etc.) to coach, train and develop a culture committed to quality;

  • Communicating with Internal Auditor/Resources, Safety, Warehouse and other corporate services teams within office to build strong linkages;

  • Report to internal clients

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ of related experience;

  • Experience working with an Integrated Management System (such as ISO 9001)

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written) and an ability to interact with people at different levels of the organization;

  • Strong presentation, analytical and customer service skills with a proven track record in Quality Management;

  • Ability to work with limited supervision and have an appreciation of confidentiality and deadlines;

  • Some travel required to other offices to conduct offices visits and audits. (30%)
