Golder has a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Victorian and South Australian teams on a full-time permanent basis based in Melbourne, Victoria .
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Reporting to the National Business Development Leader, work closely with the Regional Leader Victoria and South Australia, and other members of the senior leadership team.
Ensuring a strong business development culture and proactively develop business and client relationships.
Building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and maintain business relationships
Steward significant leads and opportunities through to a successful proposal
Proactively identifying and tracking suitable business opportunities across infrastructure, urban development, water, oil and gas, manufacturing, construction sectors
Developing and maintaining a strong business development culture with an understanding of various delivery methods and partnering needs
Nurturing and growing existing client relationships, and mentoring and guiding consultants in business development
Supporting sector leaders developing strategies and providing advice on priority commodity, sub-sector client or regional focus
Generate and attend presentations to clients in conjunction with relevant technical teams
Coordinating client feedback meetings
Providing input to the development of marketing plans and actions
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Tertiary qualified, demonstrated business development experience and existing client relationships either within the Infrastructure market and/or other industry sectors including Urban Development, Water, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas and Construction
Relevant experience within a consultancy or contractor in our key sectors highly desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence to liaise with a diverse group of people at all levels
Excellent time management and planning skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
