The role is for a Senior Environmental Planner or Scientist with experience in Environmental Impact Assessments and Statements. The role primarily focuses on working in the; infrastructure, power and the extractive industries sectors. The individual must have a good understand of the Victorian planning legislation as well as knowledge of the status ecologically sensitive/ significant habitats in the State of Victoria. A background knowledge of ecology, biodiversity and climate change would be viewed favourably.
Keyduties and responsibilities include:
Provide seniorconsulting services on projects in Victoria working with a range of disciplines
Undertake andmanage EIA and, Environmental Effect Statement (EES); working with a diverseteam.
Have consultationskills to engage stakeholders
Provide technicalcoaching/mentoring for others
Market services toclients and win work
Manage projectsand manage commercial aspects of contracts
Provide seniortechnical input to project teams
Skills, Qualifications,and Experience
Bachelor degree in Environmental Planning or Science orsimilar related discipline
Have experience in EES and EIA delivery under the Victorian legislative framework
Experience in a similar role working in a consultancyenvironment
Preferably have worked on a variety of largeinfrastructure projects in Melbourne and across Victoria
Advanced problem solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
