Golder Associates Network Engineer in Richmond, Australia

As we are looking to grow our business beyond 2020, we are seeking to hire an experienced Cisco Certified Network Engineer. You will be joining our team in Melbourne on full time basis assisting and implementing various network solutions.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supportexisting enterprise network systems and provide monthly metrics for networkavailability and bandwidth usage and other metrics;

  • Participatein the deployment and operation of new SD-WAN platform to support a broad rangeof business and technical initiatives;

  • Monitorand maintain network infrastructure to ensure its highest level of performanceand make modifications and enhancements;

  • Usenetwork management tools to discover, map, and maintain the network;

  • Maintainresponsibility for network equipment operating system (OS) version upgrades;

  • ManageEOL process and technology refresh for network hardware and software;

  • Liaison with other regional and Global ITService teams at Golder

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, orthe equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training,or work experience

  • 6years of professional experience as a network engineer managing enterprisenetworks and data centres;

  • CCNPdesirable;

  • Musthold a CCNA and switching certification and experience with the following Ciscosystems:

  • SD-WANplatform (Viptela)

  • Ciscotelephony technologies (Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection,Cisco Unified Border Element)

  • AudiocodesSBC platform

  • DNACenter platform

  • Experiencewith QOS and voice traffic optimisation for Skype for Business, Microsoft Teamsand CUCM & an understanding of ITIL Service Management.

  • Experienceworking in a large, enterprise network environment, providing networkconfiguration and troubleshooting support

  • Youwill have a good understanding of Ciso routing & switching platforms (IOS,IOS XE & NexusOS) & have experience with LAN/WAN interface

  • Experiencewith LAN/WAN interfacing – Including Software defined network, SD-WAN, andCloud connectivity

  • Goodattention to detail, communication, analytical & problem-solving approachskills
