Golder has a new opportunity for a Seasonal Biological Technician to join our Biophysical team. The position is based in Saskatoon . The position will be an hourly contract from June – September 2021 with the possibility of extension.
Leading wildlife construction monitoring surveys and implementing mitigation (i.e., migratory bird nest surveys, general wildlife sweeps)
Working alone or within a team to conduct field work
Participate in Golder and Client H&S programs and policies
You will have a background in:
Minimum of 1 year experience conducting migratory bird nest surveys
Experience with digital data collection and data management is desired
Construction monitoring experience is an asset
Willingness to travel and participate in field work away from home for extended periods of time
Work locations are within western Canada and ability to adapt to unpredictable and/or inclement field conditions and changing schedules is required
Ability to adapt to unpredictable and/or inclement field conditions and changing schedules is required
Effective communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented
Valid driver’s license
