Golder has a new opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Project Delivery team on a full-time basis based in Saskatoon.
An overview of your role will include:
Involvement in project coordination activities that contribute to the management of environmental projects.
Projects will vary in scale and will include environmental assessments as well as other projects in support of the development, operation and closure of oil and gas, renewable energy and mining projects.
Communicating with the project team to assist with the monitoring and control of budgets and schedules.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives.
Creating and updating project budgets and schedules and flagging issues to project manager.
Reviewing invoices and billing summaries and tracking budgets.
Ensuring project files are kept up to date using specified document control system.
Report writing, including technical and planning reports, and data analysis through the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs and other software.
Preparing reports, proposals and other documentation within allotted schedules and budgets, under the supervision of senior staff.
Participation in a team environment, working closely with and supporting Project Managers and Project Directors.
Working with and providing support to other members of the Project Delivery Group in sharing project management, project completion and client service responsibilities.
You will have a background in:
University degree in environmental science, biology, environmental engineering or a similar field
Working toward or have professional designation (PEng, PGeo, RPBio, PAg).
Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience.
Strong interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
A strong work ethic and can work with minimal supervision.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and organize large amounts of data/information.
Experience working with budgets in Excel with high attention to detail.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project and Powerpoint.
