A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join our Geotechnical Team based in Singapore to help deliver multidisciplinary project for an array of local and international clients.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Leadinga team of geotechnical engineers guiding them on design issues and sitedevelopments;
Possessinganalytical skills in deep excavation, piling, soil improvement and othergeotechnical fields;
Providingbusiness development strategies and lead in developing business for the company;
Beingconversant with local BCA guidelines, BS codes, Eurocodes, and related localannexes;
Projectmanagement, budgeting and quality control for the projects lead by him/her; and
Buildingand maintaining business networks and effective client relationships togenerate consulting business.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred including registrationand valid practising certificate as a Professional Engineer (Geotechnical) withSingapore PE Board; additional registration as Specialist Accredited Checkers(Geotechnical Aspects), will be considered favourably;
Minimum15 years’ experience in design & supervision of Geotechnical Building Worksfor major buildings and infrastructure projects;
Demonstrateddesign and construction experience in deep foundation, ERSS, tunnelling, groundimprovement etc.;
Abilityto work independently, organize and take ownership and responsibility of thegeotechnical design and supervision works, including tender stage or post awardstage of projects;
Demonstratedknowledge of geotechnical software such as 2D/3D finite element program forsoil and rock mechanics applications; and
Goodcommunication, stakeholder management and organizational skills.
