Golder has a new opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Ontario Operations team on a part-time basis based in St. Catharines, Ontario.

An overview of your role will include:

  • Filing and archiving;

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, such as scanning, faxing and copying printing, punching and binding, laminating and folding drawings, and data entry;

  • Provide support to reception, as needed, including greeting and assisting visitors, answering phones, directing calls and responding to inquiries and coordinating outgoing mail and courier services;

  • Formatting documents in MS Word, Excel, Adobe and presentations in PowerPoint;

  • Entering data into Excel spreadsheets;

  • Other duties as required.

You have to possess the following requirements:

  • Completion of a Diploma Program in Office or Business Administration;

  • Three years of office / business administration;

  • Being available to work 2-3 days per week;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Outlook;

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint would be an asset;

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and have good interpersonal abilities

  • Have a high attention to detail;

  • Ability to work independently with good organizational and time management skills;

  • To be self-motivated and reliable;

  • To be a Team Player;

  • Ability to adapt to various roles within an office environment.
