Golder Associates Ltd. is seeking an AdministrativeAssistant to join our CanadianMining Team in the Sudbury, Ontario office. You will work closely with the Project Support Team to provide general administrative duties to the Sudbury office and other Golder offices in Canada (as needed).
Anoverview of your role will include:
Prepare,review, proof-read, edit, and issue letters, reports, transmittals,spreadsheets, appendices, etc., for distribution to clients.
Providegeneral administrative and clerical support, such as maintenance ofconfidential records and project sites, setting up SharePoint sites, openingproposals and projects in Dynamics CRM, and other tasks as assigned.
Administrativesupport for the Sudbury Laboratory Manager and Supervisor; inputting results,scheduling, filing, organizing project files, etc.
Providesupport to reception, as needed, including greeting and assisting visitors,answering phones, directing calls and responding to inquires, and coordinatingoutgoing mail and courier services.
Assistingwith preparation of boardrooms for meetings, ordering, and setting up catering,etc.
Arrangetravel, such as flight, hotel and car rental, as needed.
Otherduties as required.
You will possessthe following qualifications:
Completionof a Diploma Program in Office Administration.
Oneyear of office / business administration experience will be considered anasset.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Outlook.Knowledge of MS Access and SharePoint would be an asset.
Goodoral and written communication skills.
Ableto grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently.
Highattention to detail, observance of deadlines.
Abilityto work independently and in a team, with good organizational and timemanagement skills.
Self-motivatedand reliable with good interpersonal skills.
