Golder has a new opportunity for an Environmental Scientist to join our Central Operations team in a Full-Time position at our Texarkana, Texas office.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Performingfield-based tasks such as multi-media sampling; soil boring and monitoringwell installations; lithologic logging; and aquifer testing;
Collectingand managing field and analytical data from investigations. Interpretinghydrogeological information and developing conceptual site models (CSMs)for assessment and remediation projects;
Coordinatingwith contractors (e.g., drillers and analytical laboratories) to supportproject-specific objectives; and
Communicating with Project Managers, team members andclients.
BS inGeology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Ability to perform field-basedtasks.
Availability for overnighttravel.
Strong technical andcommunication skills.
MSin Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experiencewith implementation of assessment, investigation, remediation and monitoringtasks related to environmental projects.
OSHA40-Hour HAZWOPER training.
