Golder has a new opportunity for an EHS Auditor to join our Sustainability Services team on a full-time contract basis based in Turin or Milan . The EHS Auditor will work as part of our multi-discipline team of about 30 professionals in environmental due diligence of industrial and real estate sites and in remediation of contaminated areas.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provide full cycle Project Support and Coordination with a potential development as Project Manager, which will include:

  • Initiating and being involved in projects from the proposal stage to completion.

  • Supporting development project scopes of work and budgets.

  • Preparing proposals;

  • Generating reports and correspondence; and,

  • Identifying and rectifying site issues and project concerns.

  • Provide EHS consulting services to our clients, which will include:

  • auditing activities (M&A environmental due diligence for industrial and real estate assets, including HS aspects)

  • EHS regulatory compliance audits,

  • EHS management system audits

  • permitting (AIA, AUA),

  • development of environmental management systems.

  • Providing Environmental Services, including:

  • Conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.

  • Work on contaminated sites and perform other environmental duties as assigned.

  • Auditing characterization and remediation processes of contaminated sites.

  • Actively participating in and encouraging adherence to our Health and Safety program and industry best practices.

  • Developing and maintaining good working relations with existing and perspective clients.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Degree in ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING with specialization in pollution prevention in the industrial and real estate sectors and remediation of contaminated sites.

  • Knowledge of Italian and European legislation in the environmental and health and safety fields and of the main ISO standards in the field of management systems.

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in:

  • auditing activities (M&A due diligence for industrial and real estate assets, regulatory compliance audits, management system audits)

  • permitting (AIA, AUA)

  • development of environmental management systems

  • Previous experience in the role.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel for short trips in Italy and abroad

  • Excellent English (both written and spoken)

  • Driving license B
