Golder, a member of WSP, is seeking a Client Analyst to support the growth of our North American consulting services business and our global portfolio of Mining clients. The successful candidate will provide support for our Global Account Leaders and Client Teams by providing efficient and high-quality data for sales performance and modeling, performing client and industry research, and participating in initiatives that are beneficial to the overall Client Program.

A successful Client Analyst must be able to navigate a range of internal and external systems, exhibit creativity in analysing, interpreting, and presenting complex data, work in a deadline-oriented environment, have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and excellent time management and communication skills. The role of the Client Analyst includes duties that directly support revenue growth and creating competitive advantages in a collaborative team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong partnerships with Global Account Leaders, Client Teams, Senior Consultants, and Project Managers to support ongoing activities and initiatives

  • Support the development of content for client team meetings and presentations, annual strategic plans, budgeting, and forecasting reporting

  • Collaborate with the various stakeholders within the company to track and share team actions, deliver on plans, grow client relationships, and increase revenue

  • Establish relationships within the client organization to coordinate information, and organize meetings and events

  • Prepare correspondence (i.e. letters, emails, presentations, announcements, etc.) for internal communications

  • Conduct market research to gain insights into clients’ structure, new developments within the industry, and potential areas of growth for our mining clients

  • Work with Client Teams to unify approach to identify, monitor, and capture opportunities

  • Ensure all opportunities are coordinated throughout the lifecycle of the sales funnel and support capture planning for high impact opportunities

  • Facilitate periodic cleanup of data to ensure sales funnels are precise and up-to-date

  • Develop working relationship with internal shared services teams including Proposals, Communications, Business Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, etc.

  • Assist with on-going mapping of client relationships, interactions, and contacts

  • Bring a positive attitude and energy to build a strong, cross-service, collaborative global client team

  • Travel between offices as required for training and related activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (marketing and sales), accounting, or equivalent college diploma

  • Minimum of two years experience in business or consulting environment

  • Experience with data analytics, understanding, comprehending and developing financial reporting

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and developing pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Ability to build, develop and maintain SharePoint sites

  • Experience with Power BI is desirable

  • Coordinating global data to build performance dashboards

  • Experience with CRM tools to maintain client accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities

  • Consistently collect, organize, update, and distribute client and market information

  • Review data and documents for accuracy, quality, and fit for purpose

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Exceptional organizational skills, time management and attention to detail

  • Ability to adhere to project deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly

  • Ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment

  • Comfortable interacting and working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization

  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones and different geographies

  • Mining industry knowledge and competency an asset
