Golder has a new opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Mining Business Operations team on a full-time basis based in Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB.
An overview of your role will include:
Editing and formatting of letters, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, and other documents
Using Adobe Professional to create and compile PDF documents from MS Office applications
Assembly, copying, and transmitting of documents
Opening opportunity, proposal and project numbers using Oracle CX
General assistance to other Administrative Assistants as required
You will have a background in:
0-2 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment
Graduate of business administration diploma preferred
Advanced Microsoft application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
Willingness to learn and implement systems
Attention to detail and ownership of delegated tasks
Excellent organizational skills (record keeping, time management, follow up)
Good communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing)
Good problem-solving skills with the initiative and ability to identify alternative solutions
Knowledge of engineering consulting and/or related industries would be an asset
