Golder has a new opportunity for a Geo-EnvironmentalTechnician/Technologist to join our EnvironmentalRemediation & Water team on a full-time basis based in Vancouver.

An overview of yourrole will include:

  • UndertakePhase I Environmental Site Assessments including data review, sitereconnaissance, and report writing

  • SupportPhase II Environmental Site Assessments including drilling supervision,borehole logging, and sample collection

  • Supportsite remedial activities including supervision and post-completion monitoring

  • Undertakegeological, hydrogeological, and contaminant data compilation, interpretationand reporting

You will have abackground in:

  • Diplomaor Degree in environmental technology or related field

  • 1-2years of experience in assessment and remediation of contaminated sites (soil,groundwater, and soil vapour sample collection

  • Experiencein problem solving with industry standard commercial computer software

  • Strongtechnical skills

  • Excellentcommunication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Strongpeople skills and an ability to work in a team environment

  • Flexibleand adaptable, with the ability to operate in both field and officeenvironments

  • Willingnessto work out of town in Northern British Columbia, Yukon, and Vancouver Islandfor two to three week long assignments

  • Eligibilityto register with the Association of Applied Science Technicians andTechnologists of B.C. or any other relevant professional association asappropriate would be considered an asset

  • ValidBritish Columbia driver’s license is required; having a personal vehicle is anasset

  • Newgraduates are encouraged to apply
