Golder has a new opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineering Co-op Student to join our Mine Waste team for an 8-month work term, starting January 2021 based in Vancouver .
An overview of your role will include:
Provide geotechnical engineering services with respect to mine waste management and project management
Work with and assist other professionals in project teams
Assisting others in the completion of geotechnical field work
Assist with analyses and design work for projects at stages ranging from scoping to detailed engineering and construction
You will have a background in:
Currently enrolled in a Civil or Geological Engineering degree program
Excellent written and verbal skills
Experience in geotechnical/mining consulting is an asset
Knowledge of tailings dam and other geotechnical terminology is desirable
Valid driver’s license is preferred
