Golder has a new opportunity for a GlobalMobility Leader to join our HumanResources team on a full-time basis based in Calgary, Edmonton orMississauga.

An overview of yourrole will include:

  • Partnerwith our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams to support our strategyin retaining and hiring top talent

  • Providespecialist oversight and support for global employee mobility within Golder

  • Establish,as the initial primary focus, best practice global mobility policies, processesand tools that support Golder’s talent strategy

  • Whilstglobal mobility will be the core focus of this role, this role will alsosupport our Human Resources strategy

  • Establish,update, and maintain a Global Mobility Function including policies, processesand tools that support Golder’s talent strategy

  • Providespecialist support and oversight for all mobility assignments, from initialenquiry to assignment conclusion

  • Developassignment compensation and relocation packages for potential and actualassignees, as well as cost projections and balance sheet calculations for thebusiness

  • Ensurekey stakeholders can make informed decisions around the total cost of globalmobility

  • Stakeholdermanagement

  • Thirdparty vendor management

  • Developmetrics and track and report mobility related costs

  • Maintainand improve the process for tracking transfers and producing metrics for keystakeholders using relevant tools (software)

  • Regularlysurvey the transferee community to understand potential enhancements andmonitor all aspects of the Global Mobility program to identify opportunitiesfor improvement

  • Liaisewith Regional HR leaders and Talent Acquisition to maintain an up-to-dateforecast of global mobility needs

You will have abackground in:

  • Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience in global mobility, Human Resources or directlyrelated field

  • 5years working in a global mobility or Human Resources function

  • Demonstratedexperience or ability to lead a global mobility function for a medium sized,geographically diverse organization or the ability to apply skills to the areaof global mobility

  • Otherhuman resources specific knowledge that can be used to support the People &Talent team

  • Experiencecreating and implementing programs, processes and tools on a global scale

  • Abilityto work remotely and function in an independent manner with a high degree ofinitiative

  • Soundtaxation and immigration knowledge

  • Projectmanagement experience

  • Strongcommunication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence others

  • Experienceworking for a national or multi-state employer in a professional servicesenvironment is preferred

  • HRCertification (or working towards and able to sit for exam within approximatelyone year) is desired

  • Oracleexperience is an asset
