Golder Associates Project Engineer in VICTORIA, Texas

Golder has a new opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team in a Full-Time position at our Victoria, Texas office.

The position will entail working with upper-level managers to complete Golder technical projects. Duties will include managing office- and field-based tasks, performing investigations and preparing technical reports.

Yourprimary responsibilities may include:

  • Performsite characterization activities such as soil, groundwater, sediment, and/orsurface water sampling and data interpretation;

  • Workon engineering design services for soil and groundwater remediation systems andother environmental systems, including feasibility studies, pre-designinvestigations and bid document preparation;

  • Performconstruction quality assurance services for engineering projects;

  • Writework plans, feasibility studies, technical reports, and managing budgets;

  • Coordinatewith contractors to support project objectives;

  • Communicatewith project managers, team members and clients; and

  • Mentorjunior staff and oversee preparation of their reports and calculations.


  • Bachelor'sin Environmental, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering ora related field.

  • Minimumof 5 years of professional experience.

  • ProfessionalEngineer designation, or ability to obtain registration, in the relevantjurisdiction(s).

  • Strongattention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.

  • Abilityto work independently and manage engineering task assignments and specialprojects simultaneously.

  • Abilityto perform field-based tasks.

  • Availabilityfor overnight travel.

  • Strongtechnical and communication skills.


  • Master’sin Environmental, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering or a related field.

  • Experiencewith implementation of assessment, investigation, remediation and monitoringtasks related to environmental projects.

  • Experiencein environmental consulting.

  • OSHA40-Hour HAZWOPER training.
