Golder has a new casual contract opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Global Talent Acquisition team in Brasil. We are looking for an experienced delivery-focused Talent specialist, with established networks across mining sectors who can work collaboratively to get things done within a fast, changing, and growing environment.
A Talent Acquisition Specialist a highly qualified professional that will become a trusted partner to achieve the main objective: to build a strong human talent force that can support our business growth while providing talent expert guidance according to our actual and future challenges. The right hand of our internal clients and leaders. He/she specializes in sourcing, identifying, and hiring with a great nose for talent with the ability to fit the right candidate for a specific job. The Talent Acquisition specialist will deliver full life cycle recruiting; she/he may even conduct final interviews and offer job candidates compensation packages, so previous experience in an HR environment will become an asset. We rely on Talent Acquisition Specialist to be the public face of our company during the recruiting process; so, he/she must ensure positive candidate experiences from the initial application to the final onboarding process.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist also contributes to our business health and success by strategically maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends, and recruitment standards.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
As a sourcing expert advisor, he/she will work with the current Talent Acquisition Team to understand hiring requirements to provide the best talent, ensuring a perfect fit within multiple teams and areas within our organization.
Lead high volume hiring needs across various business sectors and disciplines;
Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process: source, screen, recruit, interview for different type roles by using different but successful methods in coordination with the TA Team;
Proactively assist the Hiring Managers and assess their need during the entire recruitment and selection process. Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices;
Create ongoing and proactively candidate pipelines through various methods to build talent pools;
Utilize social recruiting as part of the sourcing strategy including LinkedIn and other social media platforms;
Maintain candidates compliantly using the applicant tracking system (Taleo) and ensuring information entered is correct and accurate;
Undertaking reference checks;
Providing relevant and accurate reporting of Talent Acquisition activity and metrics;
Working with and providing support to other members of the team as required; and
Collaborating and knowledge sharing with the wider Talent Acquisition Team.
You will have a background in:
Bachelor’s degree (may accept equivalent, relevant experience in recruitment or Human Resources).
Minimum 7 years of recruitment experience in corporate and/or technical recruitment experience with a focus on mining or recruitment agency experience within a similar industry is highly desirable (i.e. Engineering, Construction, Mining);
Demonstrated experience by identifying high-quality candidates.
Have strong market knowledge related to the mining sector and experience at building engineering pipelines and talent pools with high conversion to employment ratio;
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), including report capabilities; and
Experience using Taleo and Oracle systems will be highly regarded.
English and Portuguese skills at an advanced level are required. Spanish - desirable.

Excellent interpersonal ability to liaise with candidates, co-workers, and other team members and leaders.
Good leadership skills are necessary so he/she can work with a group of potential work candidates and speak on behalf of our company.
