Golder has a full-time opportunity within our Mining team for a Group Administrator, based in Perth. The role provides support to the Mining Group with the delivery of projects and Group administration. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Assisting Project Managers (PMs) and project personnel with site mobilisation including project related travel arrangements, medicals and training course bookings;
Preparing documents such as Bids and Proposals, and reports;
Project site preparation and management of records via Sharepoint, document control and archiving
Assisting with the on boarding process for new starters;
Assisting PMs with project procurement, including liaising with accounts payable to process payments, new vendor and subcontractor processes.
Providing management support to the Mining Business Unit Leader and day to day assistance to Group/Team Leaders;
Managing Mining groups leave calendar, resourcing spreadsheets, timesheets and expenses;
Assisting PMs maintaining contacts in Oracle CX, and Opportunities and proposals;
Organising meetings and events including catering, preparing meeting rooms, presentations and taking minutes;
Management of group quipment and resource bookings and facilities up-keep
Supporting the team-based environment by working with other Group Administrators and Reception cover as required.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Completion of secondary studies required; Diploma of Business qualification is highly desirable or equivalent experience;
Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and a positive can-do attitude;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to develop and implement small internal projects;
Intermediate to advanced skill level across Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), as is familiarity with Sharepoint.
