Golder Associates Senior HR Advisor in West Perth, Australia

Golder is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor, based in our Perth office to help provide HR support across our APAC operations. This role will suit a highly motivated and proactive Senior HR Advisor that enjoys the challenge of a busy work environment. In return you will be a part of a supportive regional HR team responsible for implementing Golder’s key strategies relating to people through working in partnership with management and employees.

Reporting to the Regional HR Leader - APAC, some of the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support the development of the HR strategy including:

  • identification of HR operational implications of proposed changes, development and implementation of measures to mitigate employment risk;

  • implementation and provision of feedback on Global HR programs and policies; and

  • working collaboratively with other Senior HR Advisors to identify opportunities / needs, improve practices, reduce costs and provide timely and consistent services.

  • Assist the business unit to identify root causes of performance issues and provide recommendations on process improvements and corrective actions.

  • Provision of HR support, coaching and advice to staff responsible for people management.

  • Working under the general guidance of the Regional HR Leader, supervise and develop HR Advisors, HR Coordinator and Administrator staff to provide prompt, accurate and efficient service.

  • Working with the HR Advisors/Coordinator/Administrator to ensure administrative, information management and transactional HR activities are delivered in line with procedures.

  • Other related HR tasks as required.

To succeed in this role, you will be tertiary qualified with several years HR experience in a professional services environment. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders. You will also have strong analytical and problem solving skills and high attention to detail. Experience in the successful delivery of HR initiatives and programs and working across the Asian region will be highly regarded.
