Golder is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant/LicensedSite Professional to join our growing Westborough, MA office on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a proven track record identifying new business opportunities and experience completing contaminated site investigations and remediation.

An overview of yourrole will include:

  • Leadand collaborate with Golder colleagues in market outreach, businessdevelopment, and proposal activities to support growth of new clients/serviceareas in Massachusetts, southern New England, and nationally

  • Understandvarious regulatory environments and associated technical requirements withemphasis on the Massachusetts Contingency Plan

  • Leadand manage project teams on projects of various sizes through all phases ofproject planning – from initial proposal preparation and costing, to projectexecution, through project closeout to meet the scope, schedule, budget andother contract specifications

  • Actas a prime contact with clients and be responsible for overall work progress,technical performance, and overall client satisfaction

  • Leadand mentor Golder’s project managers and staff to deliver service and productsthat exceed client expectations

  • Participatein and contribute to operational exercises including staffing meetings,workload planning, annual planning and budgeting, and financial management

  • Identify,coach and mentor staff to help them achieve their potential and identifycandidates for growth of the Massachusetts location

  • PromoteGolder’s profile through active participation in select professionalorganizations, conferences, and speaking engagements

  • Bea strong advocate for Golder’s health and safety culture

You will have abackground in:

  • BS(minimum) in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or relatedfields; MS preferred

  • 15years of environmental project experience, including business development,project management, proposal writing, client contact, and regulatoryinteraction

  • PracticingMassachusetts Licensed Site Professional (CT LEP is a plus)

  • Strongcomputer skills including Word and Excel. Specialized computer skills includingdatabase applications, and/or groundwater and contaminant modeling softwaredesirable

  • Strongand effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Massachusettsand New England regulatory experience

  • Leadershipexperience, including experience leading and developing a growing team of staff

  • Apositive attitude

  • Abilityto work independently and within groups

  • Teammanagement skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with keystakeholders

  • Experiencewith emerging contaminants

  • 40-hourOSHA HAZWOPER training with recent refresher is preferred
