Golder has a new opportunity for a ProjectCoordinator to join our Water team on a full-time basis based in Yellowknife.
An overview of yourrole will include:
Settingup and coordinating projects
Coordinatingproject closing archiving of project documentation and coordination of lessonslearned documentation, client feedback documentation, sub-consultantevaluations, project experience profiles
Assistingwith the development of the Work Breakdown Structure
Coordinatinglogistical requirements for the project team such as travel and mobilization
Assistingwith development of the project schedule
Developingand maintaining a task schedule
Settingup and maintaining budgets and expenditures
Interfacingwith the accounting team to ensure compliance with the client invoicingrequirements, preparation of invoices and assisting with facilitation of timelypayment
Maintainingproject contracts and other documentation for sub-consultants, contractors andvendors
PreparingBasic Work Orders (BWOs)
Trackingequipment calibration certification
Trackingrequirements of the quality management processes or plans to ensure they aremet
Assistingwith developing and tracking HSSE requirements and associated plans
Coordinatingproject team communications, written and verbal, and documenting clientmeetings, interactions, and activities
Compilingregular progress reports for the client, the project team, and other internaland external stakeholders
Coordinatingdata management and information transfer, including setting up and maintainingfiling systems, document logs and action item list
Maintainingthe document control system for development and presentation of clientdeliverables
Coordinationof deliverables including organizing word processing and technical writing
Maintainingthe project risk register
Planning/schedulingproject team travel requirements and logistics
You will have a backgroundin:
Collegediploma or University Degree in a related field
Basicknowledge of project management principles
Atleast 1 year of experience in related project support in a multi-disciplinaryenvironment is preferred
Experiencewith scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera or MS Project) is desirable
Excellentcommunication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
Abilityto work cohesively and collaboratively with other professionals on projectdevelopment
Strongorganizational and time management skills
